The Siberian Fire and Rescue Academy of the State Fire Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia switched to domestic software for conducting online classes. The educational institution chose the MTS Link platform, which is part of the MTS digital ecosystem, the company reported.
More than one and a half thousand students will study annually using the service. The solution will be used for students of correspondence courses who are studying fire, industrial and technosphere safety, as well as state and municipal management. Up to 450 people will be able to join classes at the same time.
One of the key functions for organizing studies has become text decoding based on artificial intelligence – after lectures, the teacher’s speech is converted into text accessible to all participants.

Director of MTS in the Krasnoyarsk Territory Sergei Yegoshin noted that the platform is included in the register of domestic software and provides secure communication.
“More and more educational organizations are switching to our solution to create hybrid learning systems – in particular, the educational process with its help was organized for students of the Krasnoyarsk State Medical University and the Krasnoyarsk College of Industrial Technologies and Entrepreneurship,” he shared.
The Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations is the only higher educational institution of the department in Siberia, where they train specialists for the regions of the district in the field of fire safety.
