Krasnoyarsk students will be taught to work with artificial intelligence

18 March 14:36
In the Krasnoyarsk Territory and 8 other regions of Russia, En+ and RUSAL are launching the educational project “AI-Start”.
The project will cover 32 educational institutions – partners of the Professionality program; two thousand people will be able to participate. Among them will also be students and teachers of the Corporate Training and Research Center (CTRC) and representatives of other educational programs of the En+ and RUSAL companies.
“AI-Start” will introduce participants from the Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar territories, the republics of Tuva and Khakassia, as well as the Volgograd, Irkutsk, Nizhny Novgorod and Sverdlovsk regions to artificial intelligence technologies and master skills that are already being used in industry.
“The training is structured in two stages. This approach allows us to take into account both the needs of business and the interests of the students themselves. The first stage is “AI navigator”. This is an intensive course that starts immediately after the program opens on March 17. Experts will introduce students to the capabilities of artificial intelligence and show where and how it can be applied. The second stage, “Universal,” will take place online in April–May 2026,” said En+ representatives.
At the second stage, project participants will master working with AI. Training will begin with basic technology, theory and ethics, and then move on to practical application. This will allow them to confidently navigate the digital environment and effectively use AI tools both in their studies and in their future professional activities.
“As a technology company, we strive to be among the first to implement new standards. Artificial intelligence today is no longer just about optimizing office tasks, it is changing the logic of production processes. For example: our stations have an intelligent diagnostic system. It monitors the status of equipment online, which allows you not only to respond to failures, but to predict and prevent serious breakdowns. We also apply a systematic approach to personnel training. It is important for us that young specialists come to the company already having up-to-date knowledge and are ready to work with advanced technologies. That is why we have developed a special course for students – it provides practical skills in the field of AI and helps close the gap between theory and real problems,” said Natalya Albrecht, Deputy General Director for Human Resources of En+ and RUSAL.
