Smugglers' mishap. Marijuana worth millions ended up in a regular facility

Several dozen kilograms of marijuana were found in one of the plants in the Brzeg district. As reported by the Police Headquarters in Opole on Friday, the value of the drug is PLN 2.5 million.

While unloading pallets with parts needed for the production of machines, an employee of a company from the Brzeg district found vacuum-packed bags of dried plants. Suspecting it was marijuana, he called the police.

It turned out that the man was right. The tests carried out by the officers confirmed that six cartons contained drugs. In total, it was approximately 64 kg of marijuana. Its black market value was estimated at PLN 2.5 million.

Brest police officers under the supervision of the prosecutor's office are investigating the smuggling of large amounts of drugs. – The matter is of a developing nature – they emphasize.

An unusual cargo was found by employees of one of the companies in the Brzeg district. Instead of components for the devices they produce, the pallet contained plastic bags of marijuana.
