In Krasnoyarsk, a doctor at the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology was convicted of bribery

In Krasnoyarsk, a doctor and a manager are suspected of bribery when issuing a sanitary and epidemiological certificate. This was reported to the regional Investigative Committee.

According to law enforcement officers, in July 2025, a doctor at the Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology, through the customer relations manager of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare Fund LLC, received money from an employee of a company specializing in the production of electricity at hydroelectric power plants for issuing a sanitary and epidemiological report.

“The company representative gave the manager 400 thousand rubles, of which the woman gave 150 thousand to the doctor as a bribe, and embezzled another 250 thousand,” the Sledkom said.

Criminal cases were initiated, and now the doctor is suspected of committing a crime under paragraph “c” of Part 5 of Art. 290 “Receipt of a bribe on a large scale by an official”, and by a manager in “Mediation in bribery on a large scale” – clause “b”, part 3 of Art. 291.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Currently, the doctor is in custody, the manager is under house arrest.

In a criminal case, the necessary investigative actions are carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident. The actions of the briber will be given a proper legal assessment.
