Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the regional center summed up the results of the raids during the long weekend dedicated to March 8th. Over three days, inspectors detained 36 drivers who got behind the wheel while intoxicated.
Among the violators were two motorists who had already been charged with drunk driving. Now they face criminal liability under Article 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Two more detainees did not have a driver's license at all, but this did not stop them from traveling.
Administrative materials have been drawn up against all violators. They face a fine of 45 thousand rubles and deprivation of rights for up to two years.
The traffic police reminded that you can report a drunk driver by calling the Blue Line (263-10-19) or via chat bot @Alkoline_Krsk_bot.
