Krasnoyarsk sambo wrestlers took medals at the Russian Championship

The Russian Sambo Championship was held in St. Petersburg, as a result of which Krasnoyarsk athletes won two medals. More than 1,000 representatives from 74 regions of the country took part in the competition.

Olga Artoshina, who competed for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, won in the weight category over 80 kg and became a four-time national champion.

Silver and bronze in this weight went to sambo wrestlers from the Sverdlovsk region Albina Cholombitko and Olesya Tkachenko, another bronze award went to Valeria Nizhegorodova from the Krasnodar region.

In the men's part of the competition, Krasnoyarsk sambo wrestler Vladislav Panov won a silver medal in the weight category up to 88 kg. Only in the fight for gold did he lose to an athlete from Moscow, Alexander Suchkov.

Bronze medalists in this weight were Raul Babaev from the Ryazan region and Anton Surovtsev from Moscow.
