The fifth district festival-forum “Russian Creative Week – Siberia” will take place from 12 to 14 November in the creative cluster “Kvadrat” in Krasnoyarsk.
The forum “Russian Creative Week – Siberia” – a key event in the field of creative economy of the Siberia macroregion – will continue to broadcast new trends and work tools formulated at the federal festival-forum “Russian Creative Week”.
At the anniversary forum in Krasnoyarsk, the results of work over five years will be summed up and new achievements of the creative industries of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, which received the Russian National Award in the field of creative industries 2024 in the Creative Region category, will be presented.
“We all see how new meanings are being born in Krasnoyarsk, uniting the professional community, education and business. The Krasnoyarsk Territory is a visionary region in which management decisions and models that are in demand throughout the country are being formed,” said Marina Mongush, president of the Creative Economy ANO.
“In 2021, the Krasnoyarsk Territory became the first region of the country to host the regional forum of the Russian Creative Week. The key task of the forum is to unite industry leaders from different regions, entrepreneurs, and creators to exchange experiences, synchronize management approaches, and develop a strategy for the development of the creative economy. There are already 20 thousand people employed in these industries in our region. They refute the stereotype that we have an exclusively raw materials region. Today, the Krasnoyarsk Territory is a region of a new economy,” emphasized Mikhail Kotyukov, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
“Our task as a supporting organization is to create conditions for the sustainable development of the creative economy of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, fully supporting creative business. Over the past three years, we have built a trusting dialogue with the community, and the forum helps strengthen it: representatives of government, big business and the creative sphere determine priorities and development strategies for the next year, give impetus to new initiatives and projects,” said Alexander Chernikov, director of the Siberian Institute for the Development of Creative Industries, director of the ANO Siberian Institute for the Development of Creative Industries.
The fifth anniversary forum in Krasnoyarsk will open a new cycle of development of creative industries – a discussion of the future of the creative economy of Siberia. Federal-level experts, management teams and creative entrepreneurs will unite to build long-term guidelines – from designing a new environment to Russia’s transition to a value-based economy.
As part of the business program, over 30 sessions are planned with the participation of more than 70 speakers – representatives of creative businesses and corporations, federal and regional authorities, development institutions, science and education. The topic of the main plenary session is “The Creative Economy of Siberia: a synthesis of traditional values, human intelligence and technology.”
