Mayor Sergei Vereshchagin spoke in his telegram channel about transport issues that Krasnoyarsk residents approach him with at personal receptions. According to him, citizens raise dozens of issues, including problems with travel and parking.
One of the pressing issues concerns access to the Plodovo-Yagodny complex. The discussion continued after an open meeting in the Oktyabrsky district. Residents of a neighboring residential area oppose the movement of cars through their yard. The bypass section is privately owned as long as the tenant has promised not to block it. At the same time, as the mayor emphasized, the city needs a full-fledged road. Now experts are exploring various options, including through the lands of the agricultural university. Sergei Vereshchagin instructed them to go to the site and meet with the residents again.
The second problem is the shortage of parking spaces in the Tikhie Zori microdistrict. A local resident addressed this question to the mayor at a reception. Currently, the administration is working on two sites. A clinic is planned for one of them, but for now the site is empty. As soon as it gets warm, the area will be leveled. According to preliminary estimates, several hundred parking spaces can be arranged there – free of charge.
Negotiations are underway with the owner on another plot. But these solutions are temporary. The head of the city noted that the root causes of the shortage of parking in the microdistrict need to be examined separately.
