In recent months, we are dealing with increased, intentional and intentional disinformation, which is used by our political opponents, but also has unintentional actions and resulting from the misunderstanding of European law – she reported.
The ministers meeting in Warsaw agreed that no state would solve the problem of disinformation alone, and the fight against fake news should also take place in cooperation with digital platforms.
– Proactive and educational activities also require a lot of workincluding the improvement of communication on the part of EU institutions and member states on the subject of law and related potential benefits. Today's discussion is an introduction to developing new mechanisms-said Hennig-Kloska.

$ 2 billion annually to disinformation
The politician returned to the geostrategic conditions of disinformation. In her words, Russia spends at least $ 2 billion on activities in this respect. annually. “We estimate that at least a dozen or so percent of this sum go to climate disinformation,” she added.
As for green technologies, the ministers agreed as to the need for their development in the context of adaptation to climate change, but also building the economic potential of Europe. – Innovations create new jobs and may constitute a competitive advantage. It is worth ensuring their financing, but also creating favorable regulations, e.g. Posting green technologies in tenders -said Hennig-Kloska.
The European Commission is already working on the European plan to adapt to climate change. The European Environment Agency will prepare an assessment of climate risks. The head of the climate ministry mentioned negative experiences from last year, when floods devastated both Poland along with other Central European countries and Spain.
Cross -border adaptation
