I will be ready to close the border and I informed the Germans that if they try to send us migrants, I will finally apply the provisions to terminate the treaty obligations because of security – declared on Tuesday on TVP Info Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
The head of government, when asked about the issue of accepting migrants returned from Germany to Poland, replied that he had informed Chancellor Friedrich Merz that Poland would not take any migrants from behind the western border.
“I will be ready to close the border,” Tusk declared.
“I told the Germans: If you try to send us migrants, then I will apply Article 72 in the end, which will allow for temporary termination due to the safety of all treaty obligations, so that they are aware of this and realize it” – added the prime minister. (PAP)
