Transneft Western Siberia JSC hosted the VII Winter Spartakiad of Transneft system organizations in Krasnoyarsk.

The corporate sports competition was held on February 20-21 at sports facilities in Krasnoyarsk and brought together a record number of teams from all over the country in its history – 26. The competition was organized by Transneft Western Siberia JSC.

Competitions in four winter disciplines started on the specialized ski slopes of the Bobrovy Log fun park and the cross-country trails of the Raduga sports complex.

Over the course of two days, over 300 athletes competed in individual competitions in snowboarding, alpine and cross-country skiing in different age categories; team races took place as part of the mixed starts of the 4×3 km ski relay.

Based on the results of the competition, 16 sets of medals were awarded to the winners of the Spartakiad. The hosts of the competition won the largest number of medals: the team of Transneft Western Siberia JSC took gold in the 4×3 km mixed relay race.

In the individual competition, top medals were won by: Ksenia Paramonova (snowboard), Natalya Shtol, Yulia Kochevaya (cross-country skiing) and Alina Musohranova (alpine skiing), silver by Andrey Vilinsky (cross-country skiing) and Olesya Baranina (alpine skiing), bronze by Ilya Kapustin (alpine skiing) and Yulia Weber (cross-country skiing).

The closing ceremony of the VII Winter Spartakiad of Transneft system organizations was attended by Vice President of Transneft PJSC Boris Korol and General Director of Transneft Western Siberia JSC Oleg Chepurnoy. Among the main achievements of the Spartakiad, the leaders noted the strengthening of corporate ties, the development and popularization of physical culture and sports.

“The holiday was a success! You showed sports heroism, the will to win, the desire to conquer yourself, to achieve higher results – and this is the most important thing. We will continue to do everything to ensure that sport lives with us, lives fully, with dignity, so that you can realize yourself in all directions. I would like to say a huge thank you to Oleg Vyacheslavovich and his team, who created these excellent conditions for the entire system, for the participants. Well, we can’t forget about the volunteers who supported you, were with you in the cold, rejoiced at your victories, and were a little sad if something didn’t work out for their favorite athletes. It has been demonstrated that we can conduct competitions at the highest level, with a serious approach. And all this so that you get as many positive emotions, joy and communication as possible. You are winners regardless of the results!”, emphasized Boris Korol.
