SuperLiga: Andrei Cordea scored three goals for CFR Cluj in the victory against Csikszereda

CFR Cluj prevailed over FK Csikszereda, 3-1, in a match played on Friday, at the “Constantin Rădulescu” stadium, in the 20th stage of the SuperLiga.

In the first match for coach Daniel Pancu after obtaining the PRO license, the team from Gruia needed only six minutes to open the scoring: Andrei Cordea took over with his chest on the edge of the box and beat Eduard Pap with a shot on the grass.
Cordea also made it 2-0 just 15 seconds after the start of the second half. The former FCSB footballer intercepted a pass from the lane towards a centre-back and sent the ball wide of the post.
The team from Miercurea Ciuc reduced the difference in the 71st minute, when Veres sent the ball into the box, and Bodo scored with a header.
The final score was set by the same Cordea, who scored from the penalty and reached eight goals in this SuperLiga season.
Thanks to this success, CFR accumulated 23 points and provisionally came five points closer to the 6th place, the last play-off, occupied by UTA Arad. On the other hand, Csikszereda remains with 16 points and occupies the 14th place.
