Siberian Generating Company is starting a repair campaign at generation enterprises in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In 2026, the volume of investments in maintaining the reliability and updating equipment of thermal power plants and state district power plants in the region will increase by 15% and amount to 9.7 billion rubles (versus 8.2 billion rubles in 2025).

In total, during the year, the company’s specialists will carry out repair work on 95 boilers and 43 turbines. The extensive program is aimed at ensuring uninterrupted power supply in the face of continued growth in electricity consumption in Siberia. In addition, SGK enterprises are key suppliers of thermal energy, so timely repair of basic equipment is critical for the comfort of residents of the region.

A large amount of work is planned at Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1. 1.5 billion rubles were allocated for the repair of 9 boilers and 10 turbines of the station (an increase of 18% compared to last year). Particular attention to the object is due to its age and significance for the heat supply of the city.

Also, significant amounts of funding will be allocated to two state district power plants in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Thus, at the Nazarovskaya State District Power Plant, the repair program was increased by 21% – to a level of more than 2 billion rubles. The schedule includes updating 14 boilers and 7 turbines. The repair program at Krasnoyarsk State District Power Plant-2 is estimated at 2.2 billion rubles; work will take place on 18 boilers and 9 turbines. Both stations play a key role in ensuring the energy balance of Siberia.

7 boilers and 3 turbines will be repaired at the Kanskaya CHPP, which plays a major role in heat supply to the eastern capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Thus, in connection with the renewal of the infrastructure of Kansk, since 2020, the BHZ and Stroiteley microdistricts have been transferred to the power of thermal power plants. The boiler houses that supplied them were closed due to high wear and tear and low efficiency.

“Increasing funding for the repair program is our response to the challenges facing the region’s energy sector. We are investing in updating components and assemblies today to guarantee reliable and uninterrupted supplies of electricity and heat to our consumers tomorrow, regardless of climatic conditions and load on the system,” said Oleg Bubnovsky, General Director of the Yenisei TGC (a division of the SGC in the Yenisei Siberia region).

In addition to repair work on main equipment (boilers and turbines), SGK is conducting a number of large investment campaigns. Thus, at the end of 2025, the second power unit was commissioned at Krasnoyarsk CHPP-3. At Krasnoyarsk CHPP-1, the plant’s environmental modernization program is being completed, as a result of which 15 boilers will be equipped with electric precipitators with gas purification efficiency above 99%, as well as two boilers and two new turbines will be installed. Nazarovskaya GRES has completed the design of the environmental modernization program and will begin implementing it in 2026.
