I rinse my hair with rice water – strong, thick, shiny: the Japanese method is more powerful than expensive “spritzers”

In order for your hair to be “alive”, it is important not just to get by with shampoo and mask, but also to add the final stage of care. Some people use balms or sprays with silicones, but natural products always work better and give a prolonged effect. The news agency EAOMedia will share the secret of Japanese women's strength and shine to their hair – rice water.

Why do Japanese women use rice water for their hair?

It's simple: rice water is a real hair cocktail. It is rich in B vitamins, natural antioxidants and amino acids. These components carefully nourish the roots, trigger the growth of new hairs and restore elasticity to the strands.

And the starch that remains in the water works as a natural conditioner. It envelops every hair, smoothes the scales and creates the effect of a smooth “mirror” cloth.

Regular rice water works, but fermented rice water is much more effective.

Prepare rice water as usual – soak clean rice or boil it without salt, and then leave it at room temperature for 24-48 hours until a slight sour smell appears. Pour into a bottle and store in the refrigerator. Use as a final rinse after shampooing 1-2 times a week.

Regular rinsing with rice water will result in silky and shiny hair. They will not only become dense and shiny like the Japanese ones, but they will also fall out less.
