The Minister of Development, Cseke Attila, said on Monday that the administration package should have already been implemented, but it will only be promoted together with the economic recovery measures.

Cseke Attila emphasized that the delay in the reform does not belong to the Ministry of Development and that he is waiting for the finalization of the packages proposed by the coalition partners.

“We, at the Ministry of Development, have been ready with the administration package for some time. So far we don't have much debate on this package. Of course, there may be ideas, but the overall package is closed. We can promote it in the approval circuit. Anyway, the economic recovery package must be finalized and then we can promote them both”explained the minister, on Antena 3 CNN.

Regarding the solidarity package for vulnerable people, recently put on the table by PSD, Cseke Attila showed that UDMR is open to discussions, but conditions everything on budgetary resources.

“We have to see what available financial space we have on the state budget law (…). There are measures there that, looking at the point, the UDMR can support. But here we also have to see the other aspects and, first of all, it has to be seen, it has to be discussed in the coalition”he said, writes Mediafax.

The minister rejected the accusations of procrastination and pointed out that the responsibility is collective at the government level.

“I think that this kind of positioning, where some are throwing words at others, does not help either the coalition or the government. People are left with the impression of quarrels, and I think the important thing is to find the points of connection. What I can tell you about the administration package is that I think that it was good that it was already in force. To society, to the citizens, because the reduction of state spending must happen. From this point of view, it would be very good for this package to be finalized and to be able to implement it, because it has an important impact on reducing state spending and we need to do this”.
