A grandfather from Nazarov filed a lawsuit against his daughter in order to limit her rights to her grandchildren

The Nazarovo City Court received an application from a grandfather demanding to limit the parental rights of his own daughter and her husband. The plaintiff claims that the parents do not raise three children, abuse alcohol and spend all their money, including benefits and alimony, on alcohol and entertainment.

According to the lawsuit, the family is in deep crisis. In 2025, the daughter’s husband, who was serving under a contract, was wounded. The couple spent the money received for this during their three-month stay in Simferopol. After returning to Nazarovo, scandals and calls to the police do not stop in the house, and the man uses physical violence against his wife and threatens the children.

Due to impossible living conditions, the two youngest children have been living with their grandparents since November 2025. They are the ones who take their grandchildren to school and kindergarten, provide for their maintenance and upbringing. Parents, according to the plaintiff, are not interested in the lives of their children, and spend all the money they receive on themselves.

The plaintiff asks the court not only to limit the rights of the parents, but also to collect child support from them. The case has been accepted for proceedings, preparations for court hearings have begun, the joint press service of the courts reports.
