“This is a generalized woman’s story, collected from real confessions and experiences that were heard for years without cameras or microphones,” the commentary says.
The song is about a woman who finds herself emotionally trapped by promises and excuses.
“In the center of the composition is a love triangle, where each meeting becomes a step forward and at the same time a return back. Images of curfew, anxiety, closed bridges sound not only as signs of wartime, but also as symbols of internal barriers between people, the fear of telling the truth and taking responsibility for one’s choice,” the announcement says.
According to the singer, the song was written not about her, but about women who waited and believed the words: “I will come and never leave again.”
“Who heard again and again new explanations – anxiety, closed bridges, curfew. But behind all these words there was one thing hidden: the fear of an honest conversation. They often tell me that this is a song about a mistress. But for me, this is a song about a woman. About the one who is loved, but not chosen,” Buzhinskaya noted. “This is not a song of condemnation. This is a song of understanding. Without morals and without excuses. Just the truth. Because sometimes the most painful thing is not betrayal, but silence and constant waiting for a choice that never happens.”
