“The Russians’ goal is to hurt millions of Ukrainians, and they have fallen so low that they are launching missiles at peaceful cities on St. Nicholas Day,” the head of state wrote.
Zelensky confirmed that the Russian Federation fired more than 700 drones and missiles into Ukraine. According to preliminary data, the defense forces shot down/neutralized 30 missiles and more than 580 drones.
“This is why additional pressure is needed. Sanctions must work, and our air defense must also work, which means we need to maintain the support of the defenders,” the head of state wrote.
