More than 30 people gathered on Tuesday, January 6, in the courtyard of the Buzau County Emergency Hospital, in protest against the death of a 25-year-old man, a few days after he was injured in a road accident. The residents accuse the unit's doctors of incompetence.

Relatives, friends and relatives of Gabriel Bumbăcea decided to protest on Tuesday afternoon. a day after the young man died in one of the sections of the medical unit, reports the local publication Şansa News.

The 25-year-old arrived at SJU Buzău after, on Friday, January 2, the car in which he was traveling as a passenger was involved in an accident.

Gabriel was investigated, stabilized and admitted to the Orthopedic Department, with a femur fracture, for which he was to be operated on during Monday. However, the young man did not get to enter the operating room because death intervened.

The death of Gabriel Bumbăcea is considered suspicious, and those close to him accuse the medical staff who took care of him of lack of interest.

Until Thursday, when the necropsy will be performed, the causes of death remain uncertain, but the young man's relatives are outraged.

On Tuesday, they lit candles and brought placards with harsh messages to the hospital yard, such as “Carelessness=Death” and “Hospital of Death”.

Those close to the young man chanted: “Shame on you!”, “We want justice”, “Resign!”, “Gabriel”, “Incompetent doctors”, “Thieves!”.

“I'll take care to bring light and justice, it's the only piece of comfort I have left”

The friends presented messages from the deceased young man which showed that the surgery was being delayed, in his case, without any reason being communicated to him.

“This man died before my eyes and under the miserable looks of the staff of the Buzău County Emergency Hospital! I will take care to bring light and justice, it's the only piece of comfort I have left. If someone has the guts or the audacity to cover up anything, I will burn everything around me without fear of any consequences and we will judge to the white cloth for his justice. Assume, ordinarys, the indifference, racism and arrogance you suffer from and stay in prison where you belong, not in places where people come to save themselves! Bread is eaten in slices, get ready!Gabriel's girlfriend wrote on Facebook.
