The Kremlin clearly identified Ukraine as the perpetrator of the attack. Ukraine strongly denied it, calling Russia's claims a lie. On Sunday, Donald Trump spoke on this matter again. Aboard the presidential plane, Air Force One, he told reporters he did not believe the alleged Ukrainian attack on President Vladimir Putin's residence took place, as Russia claims.

The US president added that initially he believed Putin's words because he had no other informationbut after checking the case, he does not think that such an attack took place. He again expressed hope that he would be able to end the war in Ukraine.
