Krasnoyarsk photographer Sergey Tokarev shared his opinion about the main city Christmas tree in his Telegram channel. He noted the empty filling of the site and the lack of bright illumination.
“This would be a good regional tree. But this is the main New Year’s site in the capital of the central region of the country. And here there are the necessary conditions for the place to be super cool: a huge parking lot, access from both banks, bus service, the island’s infrastructure – toilets, street food,” Tokarev said.
Krasnoyarsk residents supported the photographer. In the comments to the post, residents of the regional capital write that they don’t even “want to look at the main city Christmas tree.” Among other things, the site’s operating mode also raises questions among townspeople.
“Our Christmas tree is causing more and more indignation. Well, you yourself can’t think of anything better, well, look at the design! Is it really possible that multi-day high-altitude work to connect electronics is cheaper than bright balloons, bows and garlands that don’t look shabby during the day?” asked city resident Anna.
“I am confused by the working hours from 10:00 to 22:00. Why not from 9:00 or 8:00? The poor guards are just freezing in vain,” added a user with the nickname Alex Rogoznikov.
Let us remind you that the opening of the main city Christmas tree in Krasnoyarsk took place on December 26. This year, five slides were prepared in the ice town of Tatyshev Park: three large, more than three meters high, and two medium-sized. For the youngest visitors, the organizers have provided a separate location with small ice slopes, which will be included in the corner ice compositions, as well as the Chalice attraction.
