The president of the Romanian Football Federation (FRF), Răzvan Burleanu, announced on Thursday that the 5+6 rule, by which the clubs in the first league are obliged to use at least 5 Romanian players formed throughout a match, was modified by the Executive Committee of the FRF, so that from the next season of the superigations, the group will not be respected, Agerpres.

Clubs that will not respect this rule will have to pay a sanction of 150,000 euros, ”said Burleanu.
He explained that the money will be divided equally by the first best ranked five teams that respect the rule.
“These amounts will be constituted in a fund dedicated exclusively to clubs that respect this rule.
