Ficuses, spathiphyllums and zamioculcas are reliable, proven classics: they look beautiful and do not require special care. But if you want something new, fresh and unconventional, then the Zen channel expert “Anton the Flower Man” gave a rating of three beautiful and unusual indoor plants.
No. 1: Passiflora tricolor
This plant has unusual decorative leaves, and it looks great in the interior. Caring for it is not difficult, but it is important to remember one thing: passionflower tricolor is a real water-bread. It needs to be watered regularly – otherwise it will dry out and is unlikely to recover. And with normal water consumption, the plant will delight you with powerful, beautiful leaves with a reddish tint.
#2: Dracaena surculosa Mike
This is a dracaena that grows not as a mini-palm, but as a branch – and it has leaves along the entire trunk. The highlight of this dracaena is the spots on the dark green leaves.
If the dracaena has stopped developing, replace the soil in the pot, and the plant will begin to actively grow again. If during replanting you notice that the roots are slightly rotten, it’s okay: remove the damaged areas and replant the plant in fresh soil.
There is enough daylight lighting, and the soil should dry out almost completely.
No. 3: Cissus quadrangularis
The shoots of this plant are tetrahedral and are connected green segments. Small flowers grow in the internodes where they connect. To root, just break off the stick and stick it into the substrate.
But remember that cissus quadrangular loves good lighting – without it, the shoots stretch out and become thinner. But he doesn’t like water that much – the soil must be completely dry before watering.
