In Krasnoyarsk, business owners will be required to include signs in their façade passports

In Krasnoyarsk, changes to the Landscaping Rules regarding facade passports will be discussed, the mayor's office reported.
The press service noted that since 2018, Landscaping Rules have been in force in Krasnoyarsk, which stipulate the obligation to develop and approve façade passports. They indicate the appearance of the house, including the color of the facade, the appearance of the balconies, the placement of air conditioners and other structures. Now it will be necessary to include signs in the passport.
“The changes concern the approval of facade passports for buildings and structures on which information structures are located. Their chaotic placement creates visual noise and negatively affects the appearance of the city. Changing the appearance of facades without approval is an administrative offense,” the press service said.
The mayor’s office noted that it will be necessary to develop and approve façade passports for houses in the central part of the city and those located on main highways by the end of 2026. For other areas of the city, the deadline is set until the end of 2027. Such work will improve the architectural appearance of Krasnoyarsk before its anniversary.
The press service recalled that approval of a passport for the facade of a building is a municipal service and is provided free of charge.
An open discussion within the framework of public hearings will take place on February 25 at 17:15 at the address: st. Karl Marx, 95. At the same address in the unified office you can submit proposals on this issue. They are accepted until March 3.
