“The holidays come with good news, so we are happy to share with you the first of many transfers made.

24-year-old Sarah Dekker is one of the most promising Dutch handball players. A member of the Dutch national team, who plays as a right winger, he joins our team after playing for Team Esbjerg, one of the strongest clubs in Europe. With experience in her home country's national team and a good background in German (HSG Bensheim/Auerbach) and Danish (Team Esbjerg) handball, Sarah stands out for her speed, sure finishing and game intelligence.

Sarah is a balanced, hard-working and performance-oriented athlete who combines top-level handball with personal development very well. Off the field, Sarah studies architecture, plays the keyboard and enjoys cooking, especially experimenting with baking recipes.

He has an outgoing personality, appreciates the simple things, a good pre-game meal, classic music like Billy Joel's Piano Man, and relaxing moments with Disney movies. For Sarah, handball means team spirit, rhythm, tactics and dynamism”, wrote the officials from Vâlcea, regarding the new transfer for the upcoming competitive season.

After some interesting years in Esbjerg, I am looking forward to new challenges, especially the new adventure in Vâlcea. I am excited about this move and I will give everything together with the team, with the aim of achieving achievements together
