Last week in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the first case of Erlichiosis was registered this year. This was told in the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor.
The 58-year-old Krasnoyarsk turned out to be ill. In total, from the beginning of the season, 81 cases of tick -borne infections have been registered in our region, including: 37 tick -borne viral encephalitis, 35 borreliosis, and 8 Siberian tick -borne typhus.
“Last week, a slight decrease in the number of ticks injured from the attack was recorded – 989 inhabitants of the region, of which 197 children. This is directly related to weather conditions, because the ticks are less active in the cold and rain, and people are less likely to go to nature, ”Rospotrebnadzor said.

Experts also noted that the total number of people who contacted doctors from the beginning of the season amounted to more than 8.5 thousand people and asked the Krasnoyarsk residents to observe precautions.
