In Krasnoyarsk, archaeologists have given permission to build a bicycle and pedestrian bridge that will connect Yakutskaya street in Sovetsky district and Tatyshev island. The results of the examination are published by the service for state protection of cultural heritage sites of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

Experts studied in detail an area of about 400 meters and adjacent lands. According to the conclusion, within the boundaries of the future construction site there are no cultural heritage objects registered with the state. Previously on Tatyshev Island found repeatedly ancient settlements and artifacts.

Let us remind you that the Krasnoyarsk mayor’s office has already presented the concept of the future bridge. It was decided that it would be a 279-meter-long cable-stayed bridge with four architectural pylons and a steel-reinforced concrete span. Its width will be 6.5 meters. According to the architects, the combination of colors should create the effect of the structure “hovering” above the water. The bridge will connect the Innokentyevsky and Zelenaya Roshcha microdistricts with the island and the city center.

The new bridge is intended to replace the old emergency crossing. Construction is planned to be completed by the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk.
