Next year, the Geely Ex2 will enter Polish showrooms – currently the second most popular electric car in the world. On the domestic market, it is offered for less than PLN 36,000, converted into Polish currency. zloty. Although it certainly won't be that cheap in Poland, the model may become another challenge for European competition.
According to Dziennik.pl, Geely Ex2 – sold in China as Geely Geome Xingyuan – will join the brand's Polish offer in 2026. The car on our market is to compete primarily with the Byd Dolphin Surf model, which was the most frequently registered electric car in Poland in November.
Geely ex2 is currently enjoying success on the domestic market and, due to its volume, also in the world. In Q3 2025, it was the second most frequently purchased electric vehicle in the world. The field was second only to the Tesla Model Y.
Geely ex2 – performance, batteries and range
The car is 4,135 mm long, 1,805 mm wide and the wheelbase is 2,650 mm. Therefore, it is a larger car than its direct competitor – Byd Dolphin Surf. The trunk is also larger, offering 375 liters of capacity with the rear seats folded. Additionally, at the front, under the hood, like in a “baby”, there is a second, 70-liter storage compartment.
The car will be offered in two engine variants. The weaker drive will have 80 HP, the stronger one will have 116 HP. The choice of engine will determine the capacity of the battery we get. 80 HP version equipped with a battery with a capacity of 30.12 kWh will offer a range of 310 km. Range of the 116-horsepower Geely-2 z battery with a capacity of 40.16 kWh was estimated at 410 km.
Charging with direct current from 30 to 80 percent. will take approximately 21 minutes. According to Dziennik.pl, the Geely Ex2 uses non-traditional lithium-ion batteries, lithium-iron-phosphate batteries, which guarantee higher efficiency, durability and faster charging.
How much does Geely Ex2 cost?
Polish prices are not known yet. However, we know how much the Geely EX2 costs on the domestic market. In China, 65.8 thousand are currently offered. yuan, i.e. from approx. 35.6 thousand zloty.
