Several flights are affected on Friday evening at the airport in Iași, due to the dense fog, two flights from Basel and Venice being redirected to the airport in Bacău.

The Wizz Air flight from Venice, scheduled to land in Iași at 18.40, failed to land due to unfavorable weather conditions. The aircraft was waiting for over an hour, north of the city of Iași, after which it was redirected to Bacău, where it landed at 20:00.
Also, the Basel-Iași flight, which was supposed to arrive at the Iași airport at 7:05 p.m., was also redirected to Bacău.
The authorities warn that other flights could also be affected during the evening, including two flights from Otopeni to Iasi. At the same time, two Wizz Air flights are scheduled from Iași to Bologna and Copenhagen, which may experience delays.
According to the National Meteorological Administration, Iași County is under a yellow fog code from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with visibility dropping below 50 meters in isolation.
