In Krasnoyarsk they plan to reconstruct the Vinogradovsky (cable-stayed) bridge in 2027, said City Council deputy Semyon Sendersky.

He said that this year a technical inspection of the bridge, commissioned 40 years ago, was completed in 1985. Documents are now being prepared to announce an auction for the development of working and estimate documentation. According to preliminary estimates, this will require 33.5 million rubles.

“In the budget for 2026–2028, funding is partially taken into account. After the design is completed, the volume, cost and timing of all work will be determined,” the deputy said.

The cable-stayed bridge connecting Strelka and Tatyshev Island began to be built in 1979 and was put into operation in 1985. This bridge is popular among citizens, especially in the summer season. The last renovation took place before the Universiade, in 2018. An elevator was installed on the bridge, damaged metal fences were restored, the cables were repaired, painted and welded, and lighting was installed. In 2021, pothole repairs were carried out on the bridge and a “rejuvenating” impregnation with quartz sand was applied to the asphalt, which increases the service life of the coating.
