Honorary citizen of Krasnoyarsk and veteran of the Great Patriotic War Alexey Sergeevich Zabortsev celebrates his 100th anniversary. This was reported to the mayor's office.
Alexey Sergeevich went to the front in 1943. In 1945, he was a gun commander and fought in Belarus. The front-line soldier met victory in Berlin. After the end of the war, from 1946 to 1948, he served in Czechoslovakia, where he ended his military career.
Today, the Honorary Citizen of Krasnoyarsk lives alone and copes with all household chores himself. In the summer, he, his granddaughter Lyudmila and great-grandchildren go to the dacha. Lyudmila says with a smile that if grandfather decided to help in the garden, then no one will stop him.
The head of the Sverdlovsk region, Liliya Nazmutdinova, congratulated the WWII veteran on his birthday.
“We join in the congratulations and wish Alexey Sergeevich good health!” – added the press service of the city administration.
Let us recall that earlier the head of the regional center Sergei Vereshchagin personally congratulated on the 101st birthday of the honorary citizen of Krasnoyarsk, veteran of the Great Patriotic War Stepan Antonovich Grandovsky.
