Wizz Air launches three new routes from Oradea International Airport “to long-awaited destinations”. What are the ticket prices?

The low-cost airline Wizz Air announces the launch of three direct routes from Oradea International Airport to Milan Bergamo (Italy), Rome Fiumicino (Italy) and Dortmund (Germany). Fares start from 79 lei, price for a single flight segment.

“Wizz Air, low-cost operator, announces the launch of three routes from Oradea International Airport. Passengers will soon be able to enjoy direct flights to the romantic boulevards of Milan, the ancient wonders of Rome and the vibrant streets of Dortmund”. announces the company.

The route from Oradea to Milan Bergamo (Italy) will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays, starting from March 31, 2026. Flights to Rome Fiumicino (Italy) and Dortmund (Germany) will start from June 28, every Wednesday and Sunday. Rates start from 79 lei. The tickets are already available on the company's website and through the mobile application, News writes.

This underlines our firm commitment to expand regional connectivity in Romania, support local development and make air travel more accessible and convenient for passengers”, said Anastasia Novak, corporate & sustainability communications manager at Wizz Air.

Wizz Air has been operating in Romania since 2006. Currently, the company operates 219 routes from 14 Romanian airports, connecting passengers with 82 destinations in 27 countries. During the 19 years of activity in Romania, Wizz Air has established eight operational bases and currently has over 1,600 employees.

“The new Wizz Air flights represent an important step for the development of our county. The launch of direct routes to Milan (Bergamo), Rome (Fiumicino) and Dortmund marks the opening of a new chapter in the evolution of Oradea Airport. Wizz Air operates a fleet of 250 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. All Wizz Air flights are operated with Airbus A320 aircraft with 180 seats, A320neo with 186 seats, A321 with 230 seats and Airbus A321neo aircraft with 239 seats. 63.4 million passengers traveled with the company in the financial year 2025. Wizz Air is listed on the London Stock Exchange with the abbreviation “WIZZ”.
