Documents recently released by the US Department of Justice shed light on a series of controversial claims attributed to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein about Bill Gates.

According to emails dated July 18, 2013, Epstein claimed that Gates had sex with women in Russia, contracted a sexually transmitted disease and asked him for antibiotics to secretly give to his then-wife, Melinda Gates, according to Daily Mail Online which published them on Friday.

The messages, found in emails that Epstein allegedly sent to himself, express his displeasure that his relationship with Gates had deteriorated after six years of closeness:

“To add insult to injury, you're begging me to delete the emails about your STD, your request for antibiotics to secretly give to Melinda, and the description of your penis.”

In the same documents, Epstein appears to have attempted to draft a letter on behalf of Boris Nikolic, a former close adviser to Gates, announcing his resignation from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Bill Gates rejected any accusation of improper conduct and expressed his regret for the relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, who died in custody in 2019.

The recently released documents also include photographs of the two, the exact date of which is unknown. Although the official reasons have not been confirmed by Melinda Gates, it has been circulated in the media that her husband's connection with Epstein influenced their 2021 divorce.

In the context of the new information that has emerged, representatives of both parties have been asked to provide a point of view.
