The weather will warm up slightly in most of the country. On Monday, November 24, the sky will be variable in the southern regions and partly cloudy in the rest. Especially at night, isolated, there will be light rains, with a higher probability in Banat and Crișana, and mixed precipitation will fall in the mountains.

“The wind will blow weak and moderate, locally with intensification in the evening and at night, in the mountain area, in Banat, Crișana, Dobrogea (gust speeds of over 45-50 km/h, and on mountain ridges over 70…80 km/h). The maximum temperatures will be between 2 degrees in eastern Transylvania and 12 degrees in the south of Banat, Oltenia, Muntenia and Dobrogea, and the minimum will be between -3 and 9 degrees, lower in the depressions in eastern Transylvania, towards -8 degrees. In limited areas, in the morning and at night, fog will be reported”the meteorologists reported.

In the Capital, the weather will generally be nice. The sky will be variable and the wind will be light and moderate. The maximum temperature will be 10-11 degrees, and the minimum 0-1 degree, slightly lower in the pre-urban area. There will be foggy conditions in the morning.

Also, a yellow fog code applies to Galati county: Galati, Tulucești, Tudor Vladimirescu, Piscu, Independenza, Slobozia Conachi, Fundeni, Vânători, Braniștea, Schela, Smârdan, Şendreni, Nămoloasa

“There will be fog causing reduced visibility, locally below 200 m and isolated below 50 m”the ANM sent.

How to get around the country

The INFOTRAFFIC Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police informs that, at this time, no national roads or highways are reported to be closed to traffic as a result of any road event or unfavorable weather conditions.

On several roads in Galati county, traffic visibility is reduced due to fog below 200 meters, in some places even below 50 meters.

At the national level, driving is mainly on a wet road, with isolated precipitation in the form of rain being reported.

On the other main roads, namely the A1 Bucharest-Pitesti, A2 Bucharest-Constanța, A3 Bucharest-Brașov, DN1 Ploiești-Brașov and DN7 Pitesti-Sibiu highways, road traffic is flowing smoothly, in the conditions of a wet roadway, precipitation in the form of rain being reported, with good visibility and no ongoing road events.
