A policeman from Brașov county published, on Monday evening, video images of a man who is begging in front of drivers, walking with difficulty and using a cane, but who then seems to be “miraculously” cured after he leaves their visual range. “Let's stop feeding the cheap theater!” urged the policeman.
In the images published on Facebook by Daniel Zontea, a policeman within the Braşov County Police Inspectorate and spokesperson of the institution, you can see how a man, who seems to have difficulties moving and is leaning on a cane, is begging in front of a column of cars stopped at a traffic light.
In another area, on the sidewalk and out of sight of the drivers, the same man moves with the support of his cane, and when he reaches his own car, he starts walking normally, after which he gets behind the wheel, writes News.ro.
“Darlings, let's stop feeding the cheap theater. Among us there are real people, fellows full of needs, who really need our help and whom we will never see hiding behind cars and miraculously healing themselves”, said the policeman who posted the images.
Dozens of people commented on the case on Daniel Zontea's page.
Some believe that because of those who pretend, those who really need help suffer, while others criticize those who give money to beggars.
“Romania is full of such specimens, see how many there are in the days of the “shrine”, one person wrote.
And another user of the social network transmitted: “Brasov is full of fake beggars, look at the cars they have, you work for a month as much as they do on a good day, answer to who is to blame, idiots with a broad hand. The police should be present on the street and stop begging, there are a lot of them in the area of big stores in parking lots and in the markets.”
