Iran stated that it no longer enriches uranium and named conditions for cooperation with the IAEA

According to him, uranium enrichment is not happening in Iran precisely because the facilities where this was done “were attacked.”

The diplomat stressed that all Iranian nuclear facilities are under guarantees and monitoring of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Journalists noted that Araqchi's latest comment about the Iranian nuclear program is the “most direct” since the bombing of Iranian facilities of this nature by Israel and the United States.

The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry said that Tehran has the right to enrich Iran as part of the peaceful use of nuclear technology, and Iran will not give up this right.

After Israel destroyed Iran's air defense systems, Tehran found itself in a difficult position because it “potentially opened the way” for new airstrikes, according to the Associated Press.

In Telegram, Araqchi, who today took part in an Iranian conference dedicated to “international law in conditions of aggression,” wrote that “the dialogue between Iran and the IAEA is proceeding normally.”

“Our negotiations with the IAEA are ongoing; there are specific frameworks and rules of cooperation that have been defined in accordance with the changing situation on the ground, and subject to these rules, the process of cooperation with the IAEA will continue,” the diplomat said.
