The New Year is just around the corner, and if you suddenly decide to urgently fit into that same dress or look even cooler in holiday photos, the Healthy (16+) channel will tell you how to do it. Losing 3-5 kg in a week is not an easy task, but if you approach the matter wisely and without fanaticism, then it is quite possible to “pull up” your results a little by the New Year.
First and most importantly – no hunger strikes
Remember the golden rule: a healthy body is a beautiful body. Exhausting diets are not only harmful to health, but are also fraught with breakdowns and weight gain with interest. It is necessary to gently push the body to get rid of excess fluid and a small reserve “in reserve”.
What can you eat?
Focus on protein foods – chicken breast, fish, low-fat cottage cheese, eggs, green vegetables and unsweetened fruits, such as apples, grapefruits, berries.
Forget about fast food, fried, floury, sweet and highly salty. Salt, by the way, retains water in the body, so try to reduce its consumption to a minimum.
A sample meal plan for the day might look like this
- Breakfast: Two-egg omelet with vegetables and a slice of whole grain bread.
- Lunch: Baked chicken breast with vegetable salad.
- Dinner: Steamed fish with broccoli.
- Snack: Apple, a handful of berries, kefir.
Moving more is a must!
Find something you enjoy: dancing, yoga, swimming, brisk walking. At least 30-40 minutes a day – and the result will not be long in coming. Remember: movement is life, and, by the way, a great way to cheer up.
How much should you drink so as not to turn into an aquarium?
Water is your best friend and helper. Drink at least 2 liters of water per day. This helps speed up metabolism, removes toxins and dulls the feeling of hunger. Take a bottle of water with you everywhere: to work, for a walk, to the movies. Experiment with additives: lemon, mint, cucumber – they will make the water tastier and healthier.
