Not since switching to awarding 3 points for a win in 1994-95 has Serie A seen so many clean sheets at the start of a season. In each of the nine in the ongoing edition there was at least one game that ended with the score 0-0. The record was set in the 7th round, four draws!
In addition to this offensive counter-performance, contrasting with the trend of recent years in Italian football, in which the average number of goals scored and the performance increased, another shocking balance was recorded: they are four teams left without a win in this championship!
14.4percent of the 90 games played this season in Serie A ended 0-0
It reached a total of 13 games in which the scoreboard was not changed at all, almost an average of one and a half pairs of “glasses” per stage.

Genoa, Pisa, Fiorentina and Verona, without victory in 9 stages!
In seven out of nine there was a clean draw, in the last round there were two, but the record is held by the 7th stage, with four draws: Pisa – Verona, Lecce – Sassuolo, Genoa – Parma and Atalanta – Lazio
3white draws were recorded in the first 9 stages of the season by Parma (has two in a row) and Pisa. Genoa and Hellas Verona follow them with two
Thus, it is no coincidence that this round went down in history as the one with the fewest goals scored: 11.
The negative statistics do not stop there. The first nine legs of the 2025-26 Serie A season will also go down in the annals of Italian football history as those with the highest number of winless teams. Currently, there are four: Genoa, Fiorentina, Hellas Verona and Pisa.
This offensive rebound is also the consequence of the fact that many forwards have lost their way to goal. Proof that the best goalscorers are the midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu (Inter) and winger Orsolini (Bologna), both with five goals.
2.27is the average number of goals scored per match in the first 9 stages of this season in Serie A
Not even behind them in the top scorers are different: Pulisic, Nico Paz, Zambo Anguissa and De Bruyne also play other roles, some as midfielders, others as wings. The only exception among the top scorers is Cremonese's Bonazzoli with four goals.
