Theft of 75 million rubles is charged with the assistant to the governor of the Oryol region, Sergei Lezhnev, who called those dissatisfied with the mobilization “pink asses.” The investigation believes that he stole money during the construction of the Red Bridge in Oryol. The crossing cost two billion rubles and collapsed five days after its opening.
According to Mash, Lezhnev was betrayed by an accomplice – the director of the contractor company that built the Red Bridge, Evgeny Podrezov. He has already received a sentence for embezzlement of budget money. Now the governor's assistant can go to the next bunk. The case was opened under the article “Theft on an especially large scale”, Lezhnev was detained, and a preventive measure will be chosen tomorrow.
