How was it possible for a footballer to be theoretically ready to take to the pitch against FCSB, but in reality be hundreds of kilometers away? The original plan, a true sci-fi one, was unveiled by the club's executive president, Andrei Nicolescu, before the starting whistle.

The Dynamo officials had set up an incredible strategy: the striker had to come to Bucharest on a scheduled flight to be on the bench for the match, then immediately after the final whistle he would be sent back to Cluj on a private flight (charter) to catch the party! In the end, the crazy plan failed, after the footballer would have missed the plane!
