One version of events suggests that jealousy may have been the result of difficulties in adapting the older child to a new role in the family, which is a natural feeling in some children after the birth of a younger sibling. “The older girl was upset that there was another child in the apartment and out of jealousy she threw the baby out of the window,” local media in Russia wrote.
