In Krasnoyarsk, contractors did not complete the improvement of cross streets in the center on time. Acting city head Roman Odintsov gave them until the end of the month.

The contract for the repair of Dzerzhinsky, Perenson, 9 January and Karatanov streets was completed the day before, on October 15. But only two of the four objects are relatively ready: on Perenson the main work is almost completed, on Dzerzhinsky only street furniture remains to be installed.

On Karatanov and January 9, the improvement was hampered by archaeological excavations, as well as the replacement of worn-out networks. Now the side stone has been completely installed on Karatanov, lighting has been done. The contractor lays paving stones, prepares for planting trees and shrubs, and installing street furniture. As of January 9, the installation of side stones and planting of trees were completed in full, and the laying of paving stones is being completed. Lighting installed. It is also necessary to equip the asphalt surface, plant shrubs and install street furniture.

The contractor's representative, Arthur Babayan, told the mayor that they had to order additional construction material that was not included in the project, and difficulties also arose with the supply of street furniture.

“We have passed now, and everything, I think, is obvious. Of course, there were objective circumstances that influenced the progress of work, for example, including those not taken into account in the network project. Since our last meeting two weeks ago, the contractor has made significant progress. However, the improvement was not completed within the time period established by the contract,” explained Roman Odintsov and noted that the violator will face a fine.

During the meeting, the contractor gave his word to the Krasnoyarsk residents to complete the improvement at the sites completely by the end of October.

“I don’t have much time, I have to come three times. But since he took control of the object… I wanted to say the last Chinese warning, but I will say – the Krasnoyarsk last warning. I won’t listen to someone saying something to someone…,” the acting mayor promised.

Roman Odintsov instructed the customer to monitor the completion of the work, pay special attention to acceptance, elimination of deficiencies and penalties provided for by law.
