The SGC holds a children's drawing competition every year. Traditionally, children living in the cities of the Company’s responsibility take part in it: Zelenogorsk, Nazarovo, Kansk, Minusinsk, Krasnoyarsk, Abakan and Chernogorsk. This time about 200 works were received. Young artists approached the task with boundless imagination: some created their paintings in the classical way, using watercolors, gouache and colored pencils, others turned to modern technologies – artificial intelligence.
In order not to limit creators in the choice of tools, the organizers came up with a new nomination “Digital Painting”. Although there was little work in it, the SGC notes that a very good start has been made in this direction.
“Through children's drawings we see how children perceive the complex and responsible work of our power engineers. For them, these are not just people in helmets, but real superheroes who reliably provide homes with light and heat, manage the power of stations and take care of the future of the planet,” said Anastasia Dyakova, Deputy Director for Relations and Communications of the Yenisei TGC (a division of the SGC in the Krasnoyarsk Territory).
Traditionally, the best works were chosen by popular vote, which makes each drawing truly valuable.
