Mikhail Kotyukov laid flowers at the monument to Hvorostovsky on the singer’s birthday (video)

Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov laid flowers at the monument to Dmitry Hvorostovsky. Together with him, the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Alexey Dodatko, the regional Minister of Culture Arkady Zinov, as well as colleagues, relatives of the artist and Krasnoyarsk residents – admirers of his talent – took part in the ceremony.
The event took place in the park of the Siberian State Institute of Arts on the birthday of the outstanding opera singer. Today the People's Artist of Russia could have turned 63 years old.
According to tradition, the Hvorostovsky Arts Festival starts on October 16. Cultural and educational events will be held in different cities of the region.

As the governor noted, the stars of the world opera stage, colleagues and friends of the people’s artist will once again gather in the singer’s small homeland. The artists prepared a special program for the audience.
