

The President noted Shmygal’s systematic work in the Ministry of Defense and the intensification of processes that ensure the defense of the state.
“It is precisely this kind of consistency that is now necessary for Ukrainian energy. It is important that after each Russian strike we can quickly restore what was destroyed, and that the development of Ukrainian energy is stable and sufficient for Ukrainian needs,” Zelensky noted.
The President also said that consultations had taken place with Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko regarding the appointment of Shmygal, and noted that he hopes that parliamentarians will support his candidacy.
