In the recordings posted on social media, we see a helicopter flying over the beach near the hotel. The plane was probably preparing to land.
At one point, the helicopter lost its normal flight attitude and within a few seconds it fell into the trees next to the hotel. “Witnesses claim that there may have been a collision between the tail rotor and the bird,” we read on social media.

According to a Huntington Beach police spokesman, two people were on board the helicopter and were pulled from the plane. Three people were injured on the street. Everyone was transported to hospital.
