How much CIT does the tobacco industry pay in Poland. Philip Morris criticizes other producers

“Year on year, for over a decade, Phillip Morris has been the main taxpayer in the tobacco industry in the country. At a business scale comparable to other sector companies, the American concern is a leader in the areas of: CIT, excise and VAT” – indicates the company in press release.

Last year, she paid PLN 241.7 million of CIT to the budget. In terms of the amount of tax paid, it is A record amount in the history of the industry in Poland. For comparison: other tobacco companies listed on the list of the Ministry of Finance paid last year: Imperial Tobacco – PLN 81.6 million CIT; British American Tobacco – PLN 26.91 million CIT; Japan Tobacco International – PLN 26.52 million CIT.
