According to ZDF information, unmanneders were noticed near the Munich airport between 21:30 and north. Due to the incident from 22:30 Two start belts were preventively closed – a total of about 30 starts and landings were canceled.

The police received reports about unidentified drones near the airport from several people – informs the German agency DPA. The officers immediately started searching the area. A police helicopter was also sent to the place. According to German media, details about the number and the type of unmanned aerial artists are not yet known.

17 aircraft did not start due to the incident from the airport. In turn, 15, which were to land at the Munich Airport, were redirected to Stuttgart, Nuremberg, Vienna and Frankfurt.

According to the Federal Police, the resumption of flights is planned for Friday morning – informs ZDF.
