Important stage on the construction site of the Chiribiş-Biharia lot on the Transilvania Highway: the announcement of the National Road Investment Company
The installation of beams on the Chiribiș-Biharia section of the Transilvania Highway has begun, the National Road Investment Company (CNIR) announces. The works carried out by the association Precon Transilvania–Citadina 98 concern subsection 3C2 Chiribiș–Biharia, where more than 600 beams are to be installed for the bridges on the route.

According to CNIR, 18 structures, namely bridges, are planned on the 28.5-kilometer lot, located in Bihor county. Currently, the builder is working on the installation of beams related to structure 49, a bridge that crosses the highway.
“Important stage on the site of the Chiribiş-Biharia lot: the builder has started the installation of beams, on the lot route with a length of 28.5 kilometers from Bihor county”, the National Road Investment Company sent on Facebook.
In parallel with this stage, works are being carried out to pour the first layer of asphalt, with a progress of about two kilometers, as well as the relocation of the national road DN 19E for a length of about five kilometers. At the same time, the execution of the 18 bridges continues.
The physical stage of works on the entire lot is approaching 30%, and approximately 500 workers and 300 machines and equipment are mobilized on the site.
The contract for the realization of the Chiribiș-Biharia lot has a value of 785 million lei, the financing being provided from the Transport Program 2021-2027, as well as from funds allocated from the state budget.
