From one third to nearly half – so many of the most popular passenger car models in Poland lose their value in three years – according to a study conducted by “Auto Świat”. Which car should you choose to sell it with the smallest loss?

You do not need to convince about the fact that every new car loses its value after leaving the salon. However, as “Auto Świat” counted, after a year a car that managed the best in the study – Volvo XC60 – loses an average of 17.7 percent. The original value, after two years, it falls by a quarter, and three after more than 31 percent.

This is the best recorded result. Other SUVs and crossovers also managed at a similar level. In the loss, in turn, the current -powered cars. This is another study that confirms this regularity unfavorable for electricians.

Three -year -old cars, previously bought in the living room, were subject to a study carried out by “Auto Świat”, whose annual mileage was 20,000. km. Cars with gasoline engines with similar power or hybrids were taken into account, if only they were offered as part of a given model.

Let's get to a group of cars that lose their value, i.e. SUVs. In addition to the mentioned Volvo XC60in the lead was found bmw x3 (32.2 percent), Mercedes-Benz GLC (-34.8 percent), Audi Q5 (-35.3 percent) and Mazda CX-60 (-35.4 percent).

Among the smaller SUVs from the so-called The C segment lost the least on values: Dacia Bigster (-31.7 percent), which lost to the hair with Volvo XC60, skoda karoq (-32.7 percent), Dacia Duster (-33.1 percent), Toyota Corolla Cross (-33.2 percent) and Toyota RAV4 (-33.9 percent).

Among the slightly smaller crossovers, the headlamp looks like this: Toyota C-HR (-32.7 percent), Skoda Kamiq (-33.3 percent), Toyota Yaris Cross (-33.4 percent), Volkswagen T-Roc (-33.6 percent) and Hyundai Kone (-34.1 percent).

By a third (-33.2 percent) in three years, the value of the best-falling car from the B segment will decrease- Toyota Yaris. Residual value Dacia Sandero will be lower than the initial by 35.2 percent, Mazda 2 by 35.8 percent and Skoda Fabia by 37.2 percent

How much for values ​​do the most popular models in Poland, i.e. Skoda Octavia and Toyota Corolla, lose? In this ranking, unlike in the case of sales results, the Czech model slightly ahead of the most popular “Japanese”. Skoda Octavia After three years of use, it loses 34 percent on average, and Toyota Corolla 34.4 percent Among the compact cars, the models less popular on the Vistula came from the following places: Mazda 3 (-35.4 percent) i Cupra Leon (-35.5 percent) and just behind them there was a place for the Immortal Volkswagen Golf (-35.7 percent).

In turn, the most popular car currently among Polish individual clients – Kia Sportage – Three years after leaving the living room, he loses 34.1 percent on average.

Electric cars coped much worse in the study conducted by “Auto Świat”. Among them, the purchase may be associated with the least loss of value Tesla Model 3 (-46.5 percent). For comparison, equally popular this year in Polish showrooms Citroen E-C3 It loses its value within three years on average 50 percent.
